Around the Town

Wow, have I had an exciting time these last few days. My Uncle Jon and Aunt Sue have been taking me to all sorts of places around Bala. Riding in the back of the truck is still a bit scary, especially when my uncle drives so fast on the highway! My mom and dad forgot to leave me a jacket - thank goodness my aunt thought to bring my blanket along to protect me from the cold wind back there.

Yesterday we went to the Garbage Dump and I got to play inside a great big container. While we were there I visited the Re-Use Centre to pick up some new dishes for my mom and dad. After all that mess the contractors made in our kitchen I just told them to throw everything out. I'm sure my mom and dad will like the new things I found.

On the way home we stopped in to get some papers from a room with little locked doors. I tried to get inside one but my aunt Sue didn't think it would be a good idea. She said something about the wickens behind the walls.

Today we went to a big building that has great fresh baked food smells. Uncle Jon bought something but wouldn't share it with me. He still thinks that there is a difference between people food and dog food. I'm sure that I'll be able to get some later if I look really sad.

After that we went to a nice shop with coverings for ladies. I can't see why everyone puts covers on their bodies - they should just let their hair grow like mine. While we were there, aunt Sue helped me pick up a lovely outfit to give to my mom for Mothers Day. I sure hope she gets here by tomorrow because I really miss her.
